    1. Choose the right size
    The size of your rug can make or break an entire room's decor. If you're not going for a wall-to-wall carpet, you'll want one that will best fit your space. In larger rooms, you'll want a rug that's a good size, or it may make even a sprawling space feel small, according to HGTV hostess Emily Henderson.
