What does inside mount or outside mount mean?

 

Inside mount or inside bracket (IB) means that the blind will mount inside the window frame and in most cases be flush with the wall. The outside mount or outside bracket (OB), blinds will be mounted on the wall and therefore cover the window and the frame when measured for properly. You will find this in the Measuring Guide of our website or on the order pages.

 

What are the fabric tapes?

 

Fabric tapes are used as a decorative accessory. They are added to the

blinds so as to pick-up the accent colors from your surrounding area (an additional 10% charge or higher maybe added depending on the product). The fabric tape is a 1 1/2" wide colored fabric that runs down the height of the blind on each side in place of the string ladders. On some of the other products the configuration will differ such as Bamboo Shades. You can get detailed pictures on the order pages for each of products so we ask you to refer to that area.

 

Is there a charge to modify the controls?

 

Payless Décor is committed offering you features that do not cost anything additionally. On most of our products, you may request either a wand or a cord type control to tilt the blind at no difference in cost. The lift control is always a cord. And, the controls can go on either side or both controls can be put on one side and there is no additional charge.

 

What does 2 on a head rail mean?

 

This feature is recommended only for wide windows. When a window exceeds a certain width, the blind should be split into two independent blinds that share the same top or head rail. Many times you can purchase two single blinds that will serve the same purpose.

 

Is your order form secure?

 

We use a 128 bit digital certificate from Thawte to encrypt all transactions. We are also using Hacker Safe technology to ensure that there are no weaknesses on our website 24/7. We comply with all standards for companies doing commerce and using this technology.

 

Do your blinds come with a decorative valance?

 

Yes a decorative valance is included free of charge with each blind, the valance for certain blinds and shades do have a small cost. For outside mount blinds, your valence will have side returns as well.

 

Do the colors of the swatches represent an exact match to the real thing?

 

While we strive to have all of your interests pictured and placed at your fingertips, the color swatches on your computer screen may not represent the true color of the material. Please order your free sample swatches so you can see the exact texture and finish of the item that you will be ordering. This way you will be able to make a more informed decision on the color that best fits your home decorating needs.

 

What type of frames will arrive with my shutters?

 

This depends on if you are ordering inside or outside mount and the type of frame that you have selected. If you visit the shutters section of the website you will find this information available to you. Please contact us directly if you have any specific questions regarding this.

 

What type of Materials are my goods made of?

Here you will find all the information you require to understand what type of product you are purchasing. Do you have a Showroom?

 

Yes we do have a showroom and you can find it on the Internet. We offer free samples and any product information upon request. Please let us know what you are interested in and we’ll get this out to you immediately.

 

Will this material fade or warp?

 

Our products are the highest quality available in the market. Just like anything else in the nature window treatments get wear and tear. We offer a lifetime limited warranty on our products which should put your mind at ease.

 

Do I need to choose one of the brackets listed on the order page or do all the brackets come with it?

 

We will send you the proper bracket with your order. You may choose from the additional brackets such as extension brackets or support brackets if you need to.

 

I noticed the order page states " 5-7" business days another page states a different time frame. Which is correct?

 

The order page has accurate production days and shipping days. This is the final confirmation on the number of days you shipment will take. Please let us know at anytime there is a discrepancy so we can immediately address it.

 

Do you have a catalog you can send me?

 

Unfortunately we do not. All of our products are listed on our websites. Looking at them on the website is a lot more fun and convenient. Be patient as we are looking to develop one soon to help get all our information to you quickly.

 

What is your return policy on rugs?

 

Within 30 days of your ship date you my return your rug if it is in like-new condition. You will be responsible only for return shipping. Please ask us if you are uncertain of your ship date.
