Bamboo is an environmentally renewable raw material and our factory draws from its own wild growth forests of over 300,000 acres. No pesticides, no chemicals. Bamboo creates a great natural sun screen and creates filtered light in a variety of natural wood and earth tone colors.

How do you know which edge binding looks best with the bamboo shade color you pick?

Answer:

If you do not wish to choose based on the colors on the screen, you may call the office and we can manually submit a request to have edge banding samples sent to you for your own discernment.

Does the shade come with a privacy liner?

Answer:

All of our bamboo shade products offer the option of a privacy or blackout liner.

Do these shades roll up or are they stacked?

Answer:

They are not roll-up. They are stacked in a 'roman style'.

Regarding the bamboo shades: what does the privacy liner or the black out liner look like from the outside of the house, especially the color? Is there a choice of color for the liner?

Answer:

Yes, the Platinum Collection Woven Woods offers different colors for the privacy liners (white, natural, beige, and chocolate). Most of the liner colors will be a cream color from the "street side".

Are the Bamboo shades made to withstand Northeast weather when mounted on the inside of screened openings in a covered porch setting? thank you.

Answer:

Our bamboo are designed to be durable through adverse weather conditions but unfortunately they are not designed for outdoor use. We offer our Exterior Basswood Rollup Shades and Advantage Solar Shades (with outdoor controls option) which can be used outdoors.

Question:

What color is the moveable liner? Will it show through when the shades are both down?

Answer:

The movable liner comes in several colors. Depending on the transparency of the shade, the liner can be seen. However, you can choose a color that you believe will match the best. Liner colors are white, natural, beige and chocolate. The color facing the street is shown in the product specs above (top right tab)
