Thank you so much for offering these shades at a fraction of the price I would pay other places. You made it possible for us to get them. There is no way we could have afforded it otherwise. I've had them for more than six months now, and have had no problems whatsoever. I am a thrilled customer! Please don't raise your prices! *Make SURE you measure twice! I ordered the wrong size, and ended up having to buy another one.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question

are these cordless roman shades room darkening?

By themselves, no. However, you can choose a room darkening liner that will keep the majority of the light out.

Is it possible to get a roman shade that is cordless AND top-down bottom-up? If not do you have any alternatives to cellulars? thanks

We are sorry, however, we currently do not have that option on the same shade. With a combination of both options, we do not carry any shade.

Why do I have to add extra inches to my measurements if I do an outside mount for Roman Shades?

Hi, we just want to make sure you do not provide us simply the 'window-measurement' because for an outside mount you will need to mount it above your window. Thus, the height will need to be greater than simply the window height. And as for the width, whatever width you provide is the width that the headrail will come, generally on an outside mount we recommend adding a bit of width so that there is less of a light gap (since the fabric itself is further from the window). If I can provide more clarity to this response please give us a ring at your convenience - 800-925-4635!

I have an iron front door with a full glass panel in it. How would I mount the cordless roman blind? I might have to weld hardware on the door but I want to do as little as possible because the door is a piece of art

You will have to mount the blind as an outside mount. However, you will have to drill or weld hardware in order to attach the hardware to hang blinds securely.

if I have an outside mount on the roman shades, will the fabric nonetheless hang flush with the window, or will there be a gap? I'm trying to figure out the best way to block the most light. I'm concerned the window frames are not entirely square which is why I'm thinking about an outside mount instead of an inside one.

If you are trying to block the most light, we recommend getting an outside mount. You will have light gaps on each side of the shade if you do an inside mount as we do make a deduction for you. Usually if you mount above and beyond the framework, adding about 2" to 6" to your width and height, you can get adequate light coverage and you can hide that uneven window frame too!

I am looking for a double roman shade and have been unable to find

Unfortunately none of the fabric Roman shades are available with a 2 on 1 headrail option. But, we do offer a 2 on 1 headrail option in our Platinum collection woven wood shades and they go up in a Roman style fold. Here is a link: You will find that option in Step #3 of the customization area.
