When it comes to discount window treatments, you have numerous options to choose from to cater to your existing interior design. Furthermore, there are several trends you can take advantage of as you're transforming your living spaces from dull to fabulous.

Whether you're interested in wood blinds or drapes for your home, there are a few styles you can consider as you decorate your rooms. Here are some of the hottest options being seen in the interior design world as of late.

1. Velvet.
When selecting drapes for your living spaces, don't count out velvet. StyleAtHome.com reports that this material is growing in popularity among profsesional designers and homeowners alike. Not only is it thick and perfect for privacy purposes, but velvet is elegant and can create a luxurious feeling in any room of your home.

2. Sheer.
If you're not into the idea of using velvet in your rooms, you can easily go in another direction and choose sheer curtains for your living spaces instead - another hot trend in the design world. Whether you're redesigning your living room or your bedroom, sheer window treatments can benefit you in a number of ways. Not only do they create a light, airy feeling in an environment, but they can allow natural sunlight to flow into a space.

3. Natural materials.
HGTV reports that people aren't sick of natural materials such as bamboo just yet. Not only are they environmentally friendly, but they can create a rustic feeling in a space. As an added bonus, material such as bamboo can allow diffused light to come into a room as an added bonus.

4. Colors.
Window treatments that have multiple colors have been been hot as of late. If you're into the idea of curtains or drapes with numerous colors and patterns, you're in luck - this style is being seen everywhere. Whether you're trying to spruce up your kitchen or family room, there's no reason why you can't incorporate new hues into the space.

It can be difficult to find window treatments that cater to all of the rooms in your home, especially if you've never tried to bring a new interior design into a space. However, the previous trends can give you some inspiration as you look to transform your home from drab to fab by improving the decor of your windows.
