 Window blinds are available in two main varieties, the slat style and solid style. One of the main advantages of both styles of blinds is that they allow the homeowner to maintain a level of privacy inside their homes. With the slat style of blind, homeowners can adjust the amount of light that enters a room by turning the tilt wand. Slightly turning the tilt wand will only produce a small opening in the slats and will prevent people from the outside from seeing the activities inside the home. A solid blind will provide even more privacy because there are not openings in the material. The only way for a person to be able to see inside the home is if the blinds are completely raised.
