How to Clean Your Venetian Blinds

Blinds

How to Clean Your Venetian BlindsVenetian blinds can be quite difficult to clean if you do not know how. Venetian blinds range from older versions that were made of metal or plastic (synthetic polymers) to the newer, more modern wooden and bamboo blinds. All of these materials attract dust, and all of them need regular dusting and good periodic cleaning. One method of cleaning is to open the blinds and dust them with a feather duster. You can also use the dusting attachment on your vacuum and run it over the blinds. If your blinds are in need of a deep cleaning, you might want to fill up your bathtub and take your blinds down, place them in the tub with pine sol or oil soap, and let them soak. Let them dry outside, and then hang them back up.
