the basswood blinds are great and look like expensive, custom made blinds. the color, walnut, was the perfect selection for our room. the only complaint is the side valances were broken so we had to glue them in order to attach to the main valance. the repaired and finished install looks great and i recommend this product.

I don,t use computer, when I ordered blinds I didn,t read small print about ordering samples first. I was anxious and ordered two based on online photos. Boy were they OFF. Now I am sending back after agruing with staff about color. I was gonna do whole house but not now and not with your company. cherri has photos

can a few slats be taken out and cord be shortened by a handy end user to decrease the overall length if desired...thanks

Answer:

Yes, slats can be removed from the bottom of the blind and strings re-secured by someone that is handy or has access to youtube.

Can fabric tape be added to the premium basswood blinds?

Unfortunately not. That option is offered on the 2" Designer & Signature Basswood Blinds.

I am ordering the 2' Basswood Premium blinds. Why can I not change the side on which the controls are located?

Answer:

Our 2" Premium Blinds are an inexpensive way to enjoy the benefit of High Quality blinds. However, to keep costs down, we only offer the lift cord on one specific side, (right).

Question:

Due to the curvature of these old windows, I really need to hang blinds/shades from the top of the window, rather than on the sides. Is the mounting brackets on the top or on the sides? Thank you.

Answer:

Hanging brackets are universal for this product. They will work towards the top, back or sides.
