Styling
Avalon's horizontal fabric vanes float between two layers of sheers for a softened outside view when in the open "view-through" position. The Eternity light filtering vanes gently filter light to give rooms a warm, calming glow.
Color Palette
Avalon vanes are made from an extensive collection of elegant neutrals and soft, alluring pastels in 2-inch and 3-inch vane widths. While white sheers are combined with most Avalon colors, off white sheers complement the matching fabric of Antique Beige.
Omni-View Cord System
Thanks to the Omni-View™ Hardware System, Avalon Shadings can be raised up to 24-inches with the vanes still open. The system allows several additional vane positions: open, closed, raised and lowered.
Head Rail Profiles
The UltraSleek Head Rail is the standard on Avalon Sheer Horizonals up to 84" wide by 84" long. The Deluxe Head Rail comes with larger sized shades and has a slightly larger profile.
Innovative Bottom Rail
The Avalon Bottom Rail contains a sliding weight and pulley system that eliminates fabric skewing and protects the fabric edges from subsequent damage.
Minimal Light Leakage
Low side light gaps create minimal leakage above the head rail and along the edges of the shading.
Flame Resistance
Avalon Window Shadings may be treated for flame resistance, making them suitable for commercial applications. Treated Avalon meets virtually all fire codes including the California FR Fire Marshall Title 19 Code. Contact Customer Service for more information.

Features, Benefits, Options: Cleaning and Care:
While beautiful and pleasing to they eye, the Avalon Horizontal Sheer Shade is designed to be durable, easily cared for and easily cleaned.
Avalon is made from a sturdy, knitted polyester fabric which can be feather dusted or vacuumed at a low setting. Spots or stains can be lightly rubbed clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. To avoid discoloration of the material, we recommend against the use of chemical cleaners.
Precautions should be taken to reduce exposure to harsh environmental elements, such as salt air. Continuous exposure to salt air through open windows and doors will accelerate fabric deterioration over time.
Remote control operation is available with our easy-to-use Simplicity Motor.
Important: Do not clean the fabric using electrostatic wipes such as Swiffer® or Pledge Grab-It®.
Avalon fabric may also be ultrasonically cleaned. While we acknowledge this cleaning method as being safe and effective. We cannot attest to the quality of equipment or services provided by any independent cleaning facility.
