This is a soft shade that combines light control capabilities of a horizontal blind with the soft beauty of a fabric shade. Simply adjust the panels to achieve the soft translucence of a sheer, or privacy. They can finish the look of a decorated bedroom or any room in the house where you need a soft look. Please note that if you are looking for something similar to the brand 'silhouette', that this is different than that or other sheer shades in that it does not have a 'vane' in the middle - we highly recommend you request a sample to view the fabric.

These shades come in 5 colors, have a limited lifetime warranty and include all installation hardware for you to install them quickly.

All components and installation hardware come standard.
1/4" Deduction taken on the headreail for inside mounts. No deduction on an outside mount.
Fabric/shade is always 1 1/2" less in width than the headrail. So for a window that is 24" that you want to cover for an outside mount, you would need to order the shade at 25 1/2".

Yes, it is sheet between each fabric slat.

Does it provide insulation from cold weather

Answer:

What size are the veins between the sheer fabric?

Answer:

These shades are different than the most common brand on the market, silhouette. They do not have a vane in the middle. Rather there are two pieces of fabric around a roller that can provide an open and closed look. But to answer your question, the sheer stripe is 2” and the non-sheer stripe is 3”. We highly recommend that you request a free sample to take a look. The other sheer shades, such as our Premium Sheer Shades (http://www.paylessdecor.com/Sheer-Shades/Payless-Decor-Premium-Sheer-Shades.asp) offer a vane between the sheer fabrics and may be more of what you are seeking.
