Express Roller Shades

Payless Decor's express line of roller shades leverage simplicity to deliver an inexpensive yet decorator quality roller shade. There are 3 styles to choose from all with a beaded continuous cord loop to raise and lower the shade included. This is an additional cost upgrade in many cases! The shades provide privacy, but the warm glow of the outdoors will still be seen. And if you are seeking to get your windows covered quickly, your order will leave our warehouse within 3 to 5 business days after your order is placed.

If you seek decorator hems, special hardware, or gorgeous solar shades we recommend you take a look at our Premium Roller Shades. Also, please note that the length will come in 60" and 72". Make sure to get the fabric longer than you need to provide maximum flexibility; however, since it is in a roll, you never have to display the excess.

*Note that the fabric will be 1 3/8" narrower than the tip of the shade so that the shade installs and operates properly. You may want to compensate for this by adding width to your shade. All inside mounted shades will have a light gap of 3/4" on each side.

I recently purchased roller shades from payless express shades. I have to say I was well satisfied with the product. I had checked out several web sites and several local stores for like product and decided on these. They were pretty easy to install although the directions could have been a little more detailed with a few more diagrams showing installment. For the price the shades were of nice quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sent three blind the wrong size as what I had ordered. Ended up waiting several weeks to have my order fulfilled (still waiting for correct sized blinds to be shipped)

This is a fine product, but for now it is unusable as it is too narrow. I guess my measurements were supposed to include the brackets. I am a paraplegic and use a wheelchair, so I have to waite for someone to remedy this problem at their convenience.

What material is the fabric of the shade and is it a black out shade? I see conflicting answers here.

Answer:

Material is a poly/cotton blend that is manufactured specifically for black out.

Question:

Will these shades insulate?

Answer:

They insulate to a degree in that they provide a barrier for the wind and airflow. A blackout shade will provide a better barrier than light filtering, or you may want to consider a cellular shade as well to improve insulation.

Is there a waterproof (cover an exterior window in an old tub converted shower) 36" min. x 45" min. Is there a transparent material, i.e. clear plastic ????? THANKS

Answer:

Unfortunately we do not have any waterproof shades. The best product to be used in a bathroom is going to be our fauxwood blinds which hold up good to moisture. Our Express Roller Shades are made from a polyester blend.

Hi there, i am getting these shades for a daycare. Is the cord secure or does it hang? I need to know for safety concerns.

Answer:

Our Express Roller Shades are great for a daycare as they do not use a cord. They have a spring lift mechanism which means you give them a slight tug to raise/lower the shade.

Are the Express Roller Shades opaque?

Answer:

Express Roller Shades are made of a vinyl material. They are completely see through as "opaque" material might be. But they are not a blackout shade. We highly recommend requesting samples prior to ordering.

How can I see enlarged view? How to install?

Answer:

At the bottom of our homepage, there is a link that says "Install". You can select Roller Shades from that link to view our install instructions. Another great resource would be the website http://www.installyourblinds.com/. The instructions are available in pdf format in which you can enlarge or print out depending on your preference.

I want to use the roller blinds for the outside patio, are they weather proof?

Answer:

Unfortunately, roller shades are not made for outdoor use. They would detoriorate very quickly outdoors. However, you may want to check out our Interior Basswood Rollup Shades which are designed for outdoor use.

Is the bantu Java roller a natural weave? How long does it take to make and deliver?

Answer:

The bantu java roller shade is synthetic. It take 3-5 business days to produce and 3-5 business days in shipping.
