Inside Mount: Provide the measurements of the inside of your window recess. NOT the size you want the blind.
Outside Mount: Take an exact width measurement of where you would like the headrail to cover. Please note that the fabric will be approximately 1 1/4" less than the headrail (spring lift) or 1 3/8" (cassette valance).

Can these shades be mounted to steel/metal French doors.

Answer:

Unfortunately they cannot be mounted to steel/metal French doors.

Question:

Is the chain shade available w/o a casette? I'd rather have a chain than the spring system, without the casette header.

Answer:

Unfortunately we do not have any roller shades that have a chain without the cassette valance. However our Designer Sun & Solar Shades offers the option of a continuous cord loop. With this option you would use a pulley systematic cord loop oppose to the standard "spring lift". And best of all, this does not require the cassette valance. I have enclosed a link below. can you still see through theses shades?

Answer:

The "light-filtering" shades have a soft translucency. If you need total privacy, I would recommend going with the blackout shades which also block out 99% of light.

The back of this shade that faces the street is white.
