Can these blinds be used on french doors, since the glass is flush with the trim?

Answer:

They can be used on french doors and are often. Your options are 1) you can mount them as is, and when the slats are completely open they may touch or be very close to the glass (when closed they will not) or 2) Most hardware stores have 'spacers' that will allow you to mount the headrail slightly out from your door. Most people choose #1 and have no issues.

Question:

Are these blinds room darkening?

Answer:

They generally block out the majority of the light, but there are small holes in the slats where the 'ladder' goes through. Frankly, for most applications, the blinds on this page will suffice for darkening a room and providing privacy.

How do I measure for INSIDE window for this blind?

Answer:

what is the difference in the two white colors, of snow white and pearl white? is one extremely more white than the other? which is the one most ordered that people are more pleased with?

Answer:

The pearl is slightly darker of the two. However, we strongly suggest our customers order samples in order to see for themselves the color and/or contrast that best suit their needs.

Question:

The description says the blinds will be either smooth or textured depending on the color I choose. How do I know which colors are textured and which are smooth?

Answer:

All of the Premium Fauxwood Blinds will be smooth except for the color "Textured Natural" currently offered in our Clearance 2" Premium Fauxwood Blinds. There are also a few colors that are labeled "Embossed" in our Signature Fauxwood Blinds which means they are textured.

Question:

Which is the brighter whiter white? Snow or Pearl Can't tell on my screen

Answer:

The snow white is brighter. Sometimes the whites can be difficult to tell on a computer screen, so you may want to order free samples so you can see them in person.

Question:

Do your 2 inch premium faux wood blinds have decorative molding on top?

Answer:

Indeed they do. They are 3 1/4" in width and have a look similar to standard crown molding.
